After the Philippines was hit by the deadly typhoon bopha, the President declared the country under the state of calamity on Saturday.
The national disaster agency put the death toll at 459 and a further 532 were missing, mostly in the Mindanao provinces of Compostela Valley and Davao Oriental. This is indeed a heart-breaking news to people who were affected by the typhoon. There were lots of families who became homeless and they badly need help. To those who have a big heart to help them. please do so, they need your help.
My parents are in Misamis Occidental and I am thankful to God that they are just okay even though they evacuated to the evacuation center. I remember last year where I was there in my parents' house with the kids we evacuated also because of the typhoon Sendong that had left a big mark to the people of Iligan City.
Hayst! it seems Mindanao is a big hit since Sendong crawled the island. Let's just keep praying that things will be alright.
